Watch: Two pit bulls viciously attack an old man in New York street
New York resident Francesco Bove had no idea what was in store for him when he was headed to church one Friday morning in Bronx. He was viciously mauled by two pit bulls in Bronx even as witnesses tried desperately to intervene and stop the attack.
The dogs had suddenly broken free from their owner and began biting Bove. In fact, the attack was so bad that a priest had even started giving Bove his last rites. Fortunately he survived the attack but had to undergo five hours of surgery following the incident.
According to the Unilad, not only was the owner of the pit bulls arrested, the two dogs were also taken to a city Animal Care and Control facility and may have to be euthanised.
