Through comics about Dhee – a teenaged, bespectacled and curly-haired girl – Bangladesh’s LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) community aims to create awareness among the general public about their issues.

They have made boxes with 10 flashcards each, where behind each comic strip; there are general descriptions about homosexuality, heteronormativity, gender, sexuality, stereotypes and patriarchy. According to media reports, these cards will be circulated at workshops, seminars and conferences across the country soon.
