Filmi innings: Rashmi Gautham
Rashmi Gautham, who is popular for her TV show Jabardasth, has signed another film — this time a women-centric one titled Chaarusheela.
The film has been officially launched and shooting will begin soon. “This is a very good role and completely a new one for me. It’s a female-centric film and the story revolves around me,” says Rashmi. Vuyyuru Srinivas is directing this film. “It’s a screenplay-based film and I am sure it will be a new genre,” adds the actress.
Top comedian Brahmanandam is playing an important character along with Rajiv Kanakala.
When asked whether the title Chaarusheela was chosen because a character by that name became very famous in Srimanthudu, Rashmi says, “No, it’s not that. We had confirmed our title long ago.”
Rashmi is also looking forward to the release of her other film, Guntur Talkies.
