Indrani Mukerjea made fake Facebook profile of Sheena
Mumbai: A highly-placed police source investigating the sensational Sheena Bora murder case on Saturday disclosed that during their investigations it was found that prime accused Indrani Mukerjea had allegedly made a fake Facebook profile of her daughter Sheena after the latter’s murder.
During investigations, Indrani’s husband Peter Mukerjea said that he had seen a photograph of Sheena shown to her by Indrani after April 24, 2012 (the day she was murdered). Indrani is said to have led him into believing that Sheena was alive and having fun overseas.
When questioned how Indrani managed to do so, the police source disclosed that Indrani had made a fake Facebook account of Sheena Bora and had shown a picture from it to Peter. They said she had kept the profile alive and one police team from the cyber cell is looking into this angle as well.

Another police source also informed that the last two e-mails that were sent by Indrani from her Gmail account were also to Sheena Bora. These were sent on May 4, 2012 and August 7, 2012. In both the e-mails, Indrani, who allegedly murdered Sheena, purposely wrote to her asking how her life was going on. This, the source said, was done with an aim to mislead others like Mikhail.
Indrani had sent an e-mail to Sheena on March 8, 2012 i.e. around 45 days prior to her murder. The Asian Age had first reported that Indrani allegedly used “threatening words” in this e-mail to Sheena. Indrani said she didn’t approve of her relationship with Rahul and should break it off. This email was also forwarded to Sheena’s brother Mikhail Bora. The police has done a panchnama of all the three e-mails.
It is also learnt that the audio clips handed over by Mikhail to the Khar police are about his conversations with Indrani. Mikhail told the police that these audio clips would clear a lot about how his mother controlled him.
In another development, Peter Mukerjea and his brother Gautam came to the Khar police station on Saturday and were questioned briefly. This is at least the fifth time he was brought to the police station. A police source has said that Peter is not involved in the crime.
