Kiran, the producer says the film’s title is from the telugu word Kaki which refers to a crow

The bilingual Kaki due for release in October, though has a confusing title, is in no way a police story. “Many people ask me whether it is a police story. This is a different story. Kaki is the Telugu word for crow and the story revolves around it. That’s why such a title,” says producer Kiran, who also has a lead role in the movie.
He says it’s a horror-thriller-comedy film. “The shooting is over and it’s now in post-production stage. We are planning to release the film next month,” he said.
Manon M. is making his debut as the director with this film, which will be released in Telugu and Tamil.
