Sooraj and Athiya's 'Hero' collects a whopping 6 crore on first day

The film is now the second highest debutante film collector in Bollywood
Mumbai: Judging by the figures at the box office, it looks like Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty’s big Bollywood debut film has come out as a true ‘Hero’. The film managed to collect a whopping approximately Rs 6 crore all over India on the first day.
It is now the second highest debutant film in the history of Bollywod at the Indian box office, second only to Karan Johar's ‘Student Of The Year’. Johar’s ‘SOTY’, which marked the debut of Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan garnered Rs 8 crore all over India on the first day.
Looks like all the pre-release promotional activities , and Salman Khan's guidance did the trick.
