Deepika Padukone says she is still a papa’s girl.The actress, who has recently been signed on as a brand ambassador for a bank, says that her father, former badminton champion Prakash Padukone, still looks after her finances.
Talking about her endorsement strategy, she says, “I usually associate myself with organic products. However, at some point of time, we endorse something owing to the product having similarities with our personality.”
That, however, has nothing to do with her tie-up with a bank. “I am very bad at maths so, all my financial dealings and rest, are handled by my father, who is good at it.”
On a completely different note, we ask her about being dressed in white for the occasion. “White is an all time favorite of mine,” she says, adding, “However, I do not consider myself to be a fashion diva as I do not feel that I am someone who can make a fashion statement. I trust the people who help me look beautiful. Whatever they plan for me and design for me – my attire, my look, hairstyle etc. – I follow. Yes, I do sometimes ask them to make things simple and comfortable for me.”
