The impending marriage between two of Bollywood’s hottest A-listers may just be heading for a rethink. Reasons being given are the Golden Boy’s wavering attitude to a final commitment and his family’s reluctance to accept her.
A friend of the couple spills the beans about Golden Boy (GB) and Golden Girl (GG). “They are very much together at the moment. But who knows about tomorrow? There are constant arguments and fights. She wants marriage. He has never been commitment-friendly. In his past relationships, whenever the question has popped up, he has fled from the relationship.”
The friend says GB’s family is adding to the growing tension in the relationship. “The guy’s family is yet to accept her as part of their family. And she isn’t the type to go out of her way to win them over. She won’t do ‘Mummy Mummy, Daddy Daddy’ to her in-laws. They are not the least enamoured of her. She is invariably missing from his family gatherings,” says the source.
Since GB is unconditionally devoted to his parents, he is stuck in a situation that has no solution. Adding to his discomfort is his girlfriend’s growing possessiveness. When recently he shot for a film with an ex, she made sure to barge in, just to keep an eye. “GB is beginning to feel stifled,” says the friend. This doesn’t bode well for the relationship.
