‘Queen’ rules hearts in Paris

Kangana’s superhit film, which is being remade here opened to a warm response at Paris
Kangana Ranaut’s Queen was recently premiered at Paris and the national award winner herself was there, representing Bollywood internationally to celebrate every moment of it.
When Queen turned out to be a huge blockbuster and won critical acclaim besides fetching a national award for Kangana, there was heavy competition to grab its remake rights down south. Ace actor/producer/filmmaker Thayagarajan finally bought the rights for an undisclosed price. Many top heroines’ names, including Trisha, Nayanthara and Samantha are being tossed around for reprising Kangana’s role, but as of now, it looks like the project is still in preproduction stage.
Kangy attended the premiere of the Hindi film at the famous Gaumont Opera in Paris and made a style statement in a Ralph & Russo gown couture. Reportedly, the venue was flocked by a huge crowd of 800 people including Indians and foreign nationals who had gathered from all over France only to catch a glimpse of the actress which also proved the universal connect the film had.
