Minister tries to find a solution for his car problem

He did a round of enquiries with Japanese exhibitors on the same issue
CHENNAI: School education minister K.C. Veeramani returned to his adolescence at the Global Investors Meet on Thursday, spending considerable time at the exhibition hall admiring the cars and super bikes on display. Veeramani, who owns imported Benz cars dating back to early ‘70s and ’80s used the opportunity to find a fix for one of his many cars, a Nissan president, which has been off road for a while now.
He first ducked into the Korean automobile and engineering stores at the exhibition hall, specifically looking for an engineer who could assist him in fixing the hydraulic system of his car. He did a round of enquiries with Japanese exhibitors on the same issue.
Admiring the displays, he quizzed the staff at the stalls about the best braking systems and chassis available in the market for a steady ride.
With his supporters, the politician also visited the adjacent stalls where sports and miniatures cars manufactured by Fiat were on display.
When a smartly dressed woman executive turned to the minister asking “May I help you sir”, the minister avoided the executive and asked for a technician. After being impressed with the design and the interior of the Abath 500 two seater car, he asked for the contact details of the technician and then moved to the stall of British motorcycle major triumph.
Excited on seeing a massive Rocket 3 Roadster, that comes with the biggest motorcycle engine on the planet displacing 2296 CC power, the minister stood by the bike for more than five minutes enquiring about its performance and the price with the technicians.
When asked whether he found solutions for his cars, the minister said, “Yes there were some bright suggestions from the exhibitors. He evaded further queries saying Amma is on the way”.
