Complaints galore for Kamalanathan
Hyderabad: The Kamalnathan Committee constituted by the Centre for distribution of state-cadre employees between TS and AP convened a special meeting on Thursday for disposal of objections and complaints filed by employees against allotment of AP native staff to TS and vice-versa.
TS chief secretary Rajiv Sharma and his AP counterpart I.Y.R. Krishna Rao attended the meeting.
The committee has received over 800 such objections/complaints, which it examined case by case.
The meeting will continue on Friday based on which the committee will take a decision on revision of allocations.
Objections were filed by staff from the departments of land administration, commercial taxes, general administration, boilers, sanik welfare, Jawahar Bal Bhavan, AP Bhavan, irrigation department and district gazeteers.
Telangana employees complained that AP staff were producing fake certificates on their nativity to secure postings in Hyderabad and surrounding districts.
AP employees on the other hand complained against Telangana staff insisting on nativity of employees for bifurcation. while the AP Reorganisation Act clearly states that it should be made based on ‘options’ given by employees.
