Karunakaran
Actor Karunakaran, one of the most sought-after comedians in K’town these days, has won hearts for his new initiative. The Yaamiruka Bhayame actor took to Twitter a couple of days back to announce monetary help to farmers who struggle to make ends meet. He posted, “I pledge to contribute Rs 1 lakh from each movie I sign for the benefit of a struggling farmer’s family, starting today.”
A few of his co-stars and well-wishers admired him for the initiative and wished him the best of luck. Interestingly, it was the suicide of a farmer in Hyderabad which made the actor come up with this decision.
Karunakaran, who was last seen in Vasuvum Saravananum Onna Padichavanga, has almost half a dozen promising films in his kitty, including Uppu Karuvadu, which has him playing the lead for the first time.
