The shooting of the film, which has GR Adithya, wielding the megaphone, commenced some time back, and has directors Mysskin and Ram playing crucial roles. The actress is confident that the character she plays in the movie will be one of the best she has essayed till date.

Poorna elaborates, “I play a pregnant lady in the film, someone who is speech impaired, and also a mother of two children. The movie is set against the backdrop of a village and Ram sir plays my husband in it. It’s a very interesting character and I’m quite excited about it. After signing up the project, I was told that my role was earlier rejected by at least half a dozen leading actresses. I think I’m lucky to land this challenging role.”

The actress however says that she had her own share of worries while working with the two directors. “When working under experienced filmmakers, many artistes tend to get nervous. Here, I had to share the screen with two top directors, and you can imagine how difficult a task it would have been for me,” she tells us.

Poorna says that it was physically exhausting to pull off the role of a pregnant lady. “I had to wear an artificial pregnancy belly weighing four-and-a-half kilo grams to make it look real on screen. Many in the crew told me that I really looked like a pregnant lady,” she smiles.
