Kate had to prove she wasn’t just “boobs”

English actress Kate Winslet, who will be playing Joanna Hoffman in the upcoming biopic Steve Jobs by Danny Boyle, revealed that she had to convince the film’s producers to look beyond her “blonde and boobs” look.
“I look nothing like Joanna... That shouldn’t have been a problem because actors transform themselves in films all the time,” Kate told DailyMail.co.uk, “But ‘blonde and boobs’ were getting in the way.”
She said she then put on a dark-haired wig, took selfies and sent them to producer Scott Rudin, after which a script was mailed to her and Danny told her he wanted her for the role.
