The judge directed the police not to proceed further till the judgement was delivered

Hyderabad: Justice B. Siva Shankar Rao of the Hyderabad High Court on Wednesday granted interim stay of all proceedings including the arrest of Outlook magazine editor-in-chief Mr Krishna Prasad, assistant editor Ms Madhavi Tata, cartoonist Mr Saahil and president of the Outlook group Mr Indranil Roy till further orders.
The judge reserved the orders on petitions moved by Mr Krishna Prasad and others seeking to quash a criminal case registered against them in the Hyderabad Central Crime Station based on the complaint by IPS officer Akun Sabarwal for a report published by the magazine degrading the image of his wife Ms Smitha Sabarwal, additional secretary in the Telangana Chief Minister’s Office. The judge directed the police not to proceed further till the judgement was delivered.
