Actor will play the part of Pasha, originally played by Amrish Puri in Subhash Ghai’s Hero

Hero, apart from being Sooraj Pancholi’s launch pad, is also a new lease of life to his father Aditya Pancholi’s career. The actor will play the part of Pasha, originally played by Amrish Puri in Subhash Ghai’s Hero. Contrary to everybody’s perception, he doesn’t play Sooraj’s father in the film.
“I play his mentor — the man who prompts him to do what he does. I see my character as a very pivotal one in the film — had it not been for my character, there would be no story to tell,” says Aditya.
The role apart, Aditya is very excited to see his son on the big screen. “I can’t express what I feel to see my son up there. It’s an experience I can’t share,” he adds.
