Apple live event: How to watch the Apple Keynote on any device
Apple will be launching the 2015 iPhone tonight at 10.30pm, India time. Along with the Apple iPhone, the tech giant will also be launching a few more products, including the Apple TV and a smarter Siri. However, the event is streamed only on Apple devices and on Safari browsers. If you don’t have an Apple device, and don’t want to miss out on the event, you can watch the same using the two options below.
Using a direct link: UStream has set up a page for streaming Apple’s event live. The video stream on the link can be watched from all browsers and operating systems, be it tablet, phone, laptop, PC or smart TV.
Using PC: Install Safari browser and head on to the Apple website for the live keynote.
Using VLC player: If you have a Windows or Linux PC/laptop, you can use VLC player to stream the event to your device. Install and run VLC media player and press ‘CRTL + N’ or click ‘Media --> Open network stream’ and enter the following URL in it — http://p.events-delivery.apple.com.edgesuite.net/14pijnadfpvkjnfvpijhabdfvpijbadfv09/m3u8/atv_mvp.m3u8
Using a tablet or smartphone: If you own an Android, Blackberry or Windows smartphone, or tablet, you can simply open the first direct link to watch it on the browser. Else, you can simply install VLC player and then click on this link. VLC will start streaming the live event.
