Parents approach rights panel against schools
Managements of some private schools violated rules prescribed by the government
Hyderabad: Parents approached the State Human Rights Commission alleging that the managements of some private schools violated rules prescribed by the government. Boyanapally Yadagiri and others from Anandnagar, Miryalaguda road of Nalgonda district said that commissioner and director of school education, Hyderabad, had asked the regional director to inquire into the alleged irregularities.
The complainants told the SHRC that the regional director had submitted an inquiry report inspecting the following schools in Nalgonda district — Krishnaveni Talent School, Chityala, Mahatma Gandhi high school, Narketpally, and AVM high school, Nakrekal.
The SHRC said in its report, “Certain violations were noticed by the regional director who issued instructions to managements to provide basic amenities fulfilling the conditions laid in GOs.” The report directed the department to initiate action .
