Nalsar hosts global youth fellowship

TS government had agreed to provide 5 acre of land to build a World Youth Center

Hyderabad: Cultural programmes featuring Indian, Korean and African dances and motivational speeches marked the three-day International Youth Fellowship (IYF) World Camp at Nalsar University of Law in Hyderabad.

The Camp had started on Monday. IYF Hyderabad representatives said recognising the value of the work of the global youth fellowship in changing the future of the youth, the Telangana government had agreed to provide 5 acre of land to build a World Youth Center as a base for its activities in the country.

Mr Kim Dong Yeop, regional director of IYF Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, said that the “aim of the youth fellowship camp is to create a healthy mindset for students and develop leadership skills in them”.

During his lectures, international mind educationist Sang Duk Han from South Korea shared tips with the audiences and stressed on the importance of quitting bad habits like substance abuse.

Having a presence in 92 countries with a membership of around six million, International Youth Fellowship helps youth who face problems of addiction, lack of self-control and other disorders with the motto “Challenge, Change and Cohesion.”
