‘My mom is always there for me’

My relationship with my mother is the closest to my heart. She has always been there for me, no matter what. There have been times when I have been mean to her, but our bond has remained, and will forever remain unchanged.

Unlike many other parents who have put restrictions on their children while they grew up, my parents always gave me the freedom to make my own choices and allowed me to become the person I wanted to be.

I always made a conscious effort not to misuse this freedom or break their trust. Right now, keeping her other commitments at bay, my mother has moved in with me, in my new home in Mumbai to help me set up and just feel supported and loved.
