Kalyan adds that Nayanthara is playing a ghost for the first time in her career

Popular producer C. Kalyan has bought the distribution rights of another Tamil film for Telugu release. He has bought the Nayanthara Tamil starrer Maya, which he will be releasing as Mayuri in Telugu. “It’s a supernatural horror film and is releasing simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu,” says C. Kalyan.
He adds that Nayanthara has a huge fan following in Telugu, and that’s why, he acquired the rights in Telugu. Ashwin Saravanan is the director of this women-centric film.
Kalyan adds that Nayanthara is playing a ghost for the first time in her career. Before this, the producer had bought the rights of some good Tamil films, including the Kamal Haasan starrer Uttama Villain in Telugu.
