Mumbai: It is a lesser known fact that Aditya Roy Kapur had a brief career as a video jockey on Channel V. He did play a few supporting roles before making it big in Bollywood with his film ‘Aashiqui 2’ in 2013.
However, during his stint as video jockey, he interviewed Imran Khan and Genelia D’Souza for their film ‘Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na’. Who would have thought that tables would turn for Aditya who was once an interviewer.
Imran made his big Bollywood debut with 'Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na', however he felt that Genelia didn’t fit the role. Genelia said, “We did our first screen test together and Imran had to see the girls he had screen-tested with. And he simply said I am not comfortable with Genelia, she is not good for Aditi’s character.”
