Foundation gives Rs 5 crore to Yadadri complex
Hyderabad: The Raju Vegesna Foundation has offered Rs 5 crore to construct the Anna-prasadam complex and set up a water plant at Yadadri.
Foundation chairman Ananta Koti Raju Vegesna, along with trust members Anand Raju and Rajesh Tirumala Raju, met Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao at his camp office on Sunday and handed over the letter offering the donation. They said the Foundation was keen to work with the TS government for developing temples.
The Foundation has also offered to set up water plants at other major temples at Dharmapuri, Basar, Bhadrachalam, Vemu-lawada, Komuravelli and Kaleshwaram.
They informed the Chief Minister that the Foundation had already set up an “annadaana satram” in Tirumala at a cost of Rs 21 crore and a hospital in Dwaraka Tirumala costing Rs 15 crore.
