Hyderabad: A Saidabad-based steel shop owner was found murdered on the night of Sunday outside a residential complex, near Meeraj hotel in Saidabad. Police identified the deceased as Mohammed Ijaz.
Police said that Ijaz is a resident of Chudi Bazar area. He owns a steel shop near IS sadan in the Saidabad area. On Saturday night he did not return home. His family members searched all known places till late at night and decided to lodge a complaint with the police on Sunday. Ijaz is suspected to have had an affair with a woman.
On the night of Sunday, night patrol parties found Ijaz lying in a pool of blood. “His throat was slit using a sharp weapon and the injury was deep. We suspect the involvement of one of his friends in the murder due to the alleged relationship with another woman” said Kanchanbagh inspector Mr S. Manoj Kumar.
