Sheena murder case: Police visit Indrani's parental house
Guwahati: Dispur police on Monday visited the parental house here of Indrani Mukherjea, who is accused in the murder of her daughter Sheena Bora.
A team of police personnel was inside the two-storey house at R G Baruah Road area of the city for about 20 minutes and visited the living area of Indrani's parents and the rented premises of the buildings, journalists waiting outside saw.
The police, however, declined to give details when asked and said it was a "regular visit". Meanwhile, there are unconfirmed reports that Indrani's son Mikhail Bora, who was taken to Mumbai by a police team from there on August 28, would be returning to Guwahati.
Mikhail's two friends who are taking care of his octogenarian maternal grandparents in his absence had told reporters earlier in the day that he was still in Mumbai and he had rung them up to check how his grandparents were.
Sheena and Mikhail are Indrani's children from her relationship with Shiddharth Das during college days. Indrani left both of them with her parents Upen Bora and Durga Debi Bora in the Sundarpur house and moved to Kolkata after her first marriage.
