Sushant Singh Rajput turns to yoga to curb insomnia

The actor has been suffering from insomnia for a while now

Mumbai: Bollywood stars erratic work schedules seem to take a heavy toll on their health. From eating disorders to disturbed sleep cycles, celebrities have to battle it all and still manage to look fresh and rejuvenated each day.

According to media reports Sushant Singh Rajput has been suffering from insomnia. The actor, who is gearing up for his next big film, a biopic on cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni, has been having sleepless nights trying to cope with his hectic schedule.

The actor has reportedly started spending more time at the gym to tire himself, so he can sleep better, and has even cut down his caffeine intake. However these steps didn’t seem to be of much help, and therefore the actor has decided to try something new in order to curb his insomnia.

He will reportedly be starting yoga and meditation to deal with his sleeplessness. Several studies show that yoga can help improve sleep among people suffering from chronic insomnia.

In order to prep for his role, Sushant has been undergoing rigorous training. The film will go on floors soon. The actor has been paired opposite Kiara Advani, who will be essaying the role of Dhoni’s wife Sakshi.
