Prime Minister stresses on religious tolerance

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a strong pitch for religious freedom, saying while there is no problem in practising one’s religion, the potential for conflict arises when radical elements try to force their own ideologies on others.
Mr Modi was addressing delegates of a Hindu-Buddhist conference at the Mahabodhi Temple in Bodh Gaya. He described Bodh Gaya as the “land of enlightenment” and said the government would is as the spiritual capital for it to serve as a civilisational bond between India and the Buddhist world.
