Cambridge English launches App

Entries for the competition have to be submitted only through this application.

Thiruvananthapuram: Cambridge English India Network has launched an app to commemorate the Teachers’ Day. It will act as a networking platform for educators to connect with one another and view and share their resources.

“The platform offers a managed network to enable flow of information to develop a repository of all the past communication and learning resources that can be retrieved and reused,” said U. Christopher Charles of Concept I Connect, which collaborated with the project.

English teachers from schools as well as colleges are members of this networking app where they can connect with each other, share their ideas and opinions.

The networking platform can be accessed by registering online at www.cambridgeenglish.org/in/teachers-competition as well as through invitation on the Android and iOSmobile app.

“The app is another step to enable educators to leverage technology to have access to curated resources and a qualified peer network,” he said.

Cambridge English Language Assessment, which is part of the Cambridge University specialising in English language teaching, is also launching a competition for English teachers of schools and higher education.

Teachers who want to take part in the competition should register at www.cambridgeenglish.org/in/teachers-competition that will provide them access to the online/mobile network platform.

Entries for the competition have to be submitted only through this application.

It involves developing an innovative and original classroom activity for any one of the four skills - listening, reading, writing and speaking.

The entry submission window will be open from October 19 to October 31.
