That’s massive!
For the past six months, artist Ramesh Gorjala has been busy working on an art piece that is nothing but breathtaking. The mammoth artwork of various gods, actually measures 9 feet in height and stretches another 67 feet and it will be permanently housed at Tirupati’s new airport.
Right now, Ramesh is a man at peace. “This project has kept me busy since the last six months. Since the artwork was this huge, I did not find much time to work on any other piece,” says Ramesh, whose artwork will be near the “immigration check” area.
The work that is divided into six parts, features Lord Ganesha, Hanuman, Krishna, Vishnu and Garuda. “In total works of five artists, including mine, will be up on display. Two artists are from Delhi and one is from Kerala,” explains Ramesh who says that this project happened only due to the Vishnu Manchu Art Foundation.
