Teachers’ Day: Sachin Tendulkar’s heart-warming message will melt your heart

Mumbai: On the occasion of Teachers' Day, Indian batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar led from the front along with former India captain Rahul Dravid among other sports stars to wish their teachers. Sachin posted an image which read: “Dreams begin with a teacher, who believes in you, who hugs and pushes and leads you to the next plateau, sometimes poking you with a sharp stick called “truth”.

Tendulkar's childhood coach Ramakant Achrekar is believed to be by many the Little Master’s greatest teacher. Making his Test debut at just 15, Sachin went on to score 100 tons and was the first bastman to score a double century in ODIs and the only batsman to score 30,000 runs.

Dravid also paid respects and acknowledged all those who played a 'pivotal role' in shaping his career.
