A division bench comprising acting CJ Dilip B. Bhosale and Justice S.V. Bhatt was dealing with a batch of appeals by JNTU-H

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad HC on Thursday made it clear that JNTU-H has to accommodate engineering students who have opted for the colleges which have not been granted affiliation.

A division bench comprising acting CJ Dilip B. Bhosale and Justice S.V. Bhatt was dealing with a batch of appeals by JNTU-H.

TS advocate general K. Ramakrishna Reddy, appearing for the JNTU, told the bench that the university had granted affiliation to 58 engineering colleges and rejected 37.

Posting the matter to September 16, the bench directed the AICTE and the JNTU-H to submit reports pertaining to grant or rejection of affiliation.
