Jessica Alba’s company sued

Jessica’s company, Honest, has been sued for misleading customers about their beauty products’ ingredients

The Honest Company, Jessica Alba’s co-founded beauty product company, is being sued for $5 million by a person who’s claiming their “natural” products contain ingredients that aren’t natural too.

The DailyMail.co.uk reports that Honest, founded in 2012 by Jessica, is also being sued for selling products that are “ineffective”, with filer John D. Rubin saying their products were being falsely marketed.

The company previously acknowledged faults with their range of sunscreen lotions and “reformulated” it, after customers began posting photos of their sunburnt bodies online though they had used Honest’s sunscreen lotion.
