Rocker couple Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger have finally officially announced their split, after months of rumours about their wedding being on the rocks.
“It is with heavy heart that Chad and I announce our separation today,” wrote Avril on her Instagram page, “Through not only the marriage, but the music as well, we’ve created many unforgettable moments.” The singer, who is also battling Lyme Disease, added that the two will remain friends and that they “will always care deeply for each other”.
