Vijayawada cyclists to ‘Ride with India’

The members of CCC, along with other interested cyclists, would take part in the rally

Vijayawada: Cyclists in the city would take the road on September 6 to join their counterparts from 75 cities and 120 locations across the country to mark ‘I Ride With India’ initiative started by Cycling India, Hyderabad.

According to Dr K. Satya Kumar of Capital Cycle Club, the club will organise the cycle rally, which would cover over eight km in the city starting from Indira Gandhi Municipal Corporation stadium and ending at the same place after crossing Benz Circle, Police Control Room. The rally would cover the entire stretch of MG Road.

The members of CCC, along with other interested cyclists, would take part in the rally. APCRDA commissioner N. Srikant would also be present at the event.

Dr Satya Kumar, recently founded the Capital Cycling Club and has gathered active bicyclers in the city. He said cycling helps people maintain good health.
