Lorry with onion stolen in Ravulapalem

Based on a complaint from the lorry owner police have booked a case and investigation is going on.
Ravulapalem: A lorry laden with onions was stolen when it was parked at Ravulapadu of Ravulapalem mandal in the wee hours on Wednesday.
According to police, an onion trader identified as Lakshmana Beera hailing from Odisha purchased 373 bags of onions at Tadep-alligudem on Tuesday and hired a lorry belonged to Karri Nukaraju hailing from Eluru to transport the onions to Bhub-aneswar.
At about 12 at night, the driver Ganta Ravi started from Tade-palligudem and at 1.00 pm, he arrived at Ravu-lapadu and stopped his vehicle to have food at a road side hotel.
When he came out of the hotel after half-an-hour, he found the lorry along with the onions missing. Based on a complaint from the lorry owner police have bo-oked a case and investigation is going on.
