Khammam: Commuters plying in RTC buses faced problems with the general strike on Wednesday. The people in rural areas postponed their travel plans due to lack of vehicles.
The activists of AITUC, Intuc, CITU and IFTU have not allowed a single bus from RTC depots. Private bus services and taxis were off the roads. Only few private cars and two-heelers were seen on the roads.
The autorickshaw drivers have also participated and not a single autorickshaw plied.
