Iskcon has decided to organise the celebrations on grand scale on the occasion

Tirupati:International Society for Krishna Consciousness (Iskcon) is going to celebrate Sri Krishna Janmastami on September 5 and 119th birth anniversary of Srilaprabhu Pada on September 6, according to Tirupati Iskcon president Revathi Ramanadas.
Addressing a media conference here on Wednesday, Ramanadas said the Iskcon has decided to organise the celebrations on grand scale on the occasion.
He said all arrangements were made in view of heavy rush on the auspicious day including par-king, queue lines, water supply, prasadam dirstribution etc and the tight security would be provi-ded by the urban police department.
In the three-day celebrations cultural programmes including a ballet show of Srinivasa kalya-nam by the TTD team would be presented.
Utlostavam, in which youth from different places of temple town will participate to own the Srikrishna gift tied to the rope at a height will be organised on September 5 evening at TTD grounds located in front of the temple, he said.
He added that the Mahasankhabhishekam to Radha Govinda inside the main temple will be organised on the same day midnight at 12 am.
On third day, September 6, Abhishekam and reciting of Prabhupadula Leelamrutham will be held.
