To crack Sheena murder case, cops to write to Google, Facebook
Mumbai: Mumbai Police, which is trying hard to put all pieces of information together in the Sheena Bora murder mystery, will now turn to Google and Facebook to track records of Indrani Mukerjea, Sanjeev Khanna and Sheena.
According to reports, police will write to internet giants Google, Skype and Facebook to provide them account details of those involved in the case and used their services.
The Mumbai police want to know who operated Sheena’s account and from where was it accessed as her Facebook account remained active even after the alleged murder on April 24, 2012. These details may help the police with the missing links related to the murder.
The cops also want to know if Sheena's Facebook account was misused by Indrani after her death.
Though Indrani joined Facebook in 2009, she became active only in March 2013. The police intend to find out whether her account was inactive till 2013 or she deleted posts made between 2009 and 2013.
The police also want to read the messages between Indrani and Khanna over Facebook.
Earlier, it was reported that Indrani and Sanjeev hatched the murder plan over Skype calls. It was also reported that Indrani forged Sheena’s signature for her resignation. She also allegedly sent messages through Sheena’s phone.
