Anupam reveals that Madhuri was paid more than Salman in 'HAHK'

The actor took up a question and answer session with his fans on ‘gender inequality’
Mumbai: Bollywood is a rough place to make your mark. There is a dismal difference between what the actors here get paid and what the actresses do. This topic has been brought up for debate on several occasions.
However, Anupam Kher revealed a very interesting fact in one of his social media interactions with fans. The actor who is currently busy with few projects in hand, took up a question and answer session with his fans on ‘gender inequality’. Anupam revealed that Madhuri Dixit was paid more than Salman Khan in superhit film 'Hum Aapke Hain Koun'.
A fan asked him about the remuneration difference in Bollywood. The tweet read, "@AnupamPkher @HeforShe The actress are paid less as compared to the actors. Firstly,Gender Equality should start frm here.Wat u think #AskAnupam". To which Anupam replied, "I agree in certain cases it is true. But Madhuri was paid more than Salman in HAHK.:)"
