Mumbai: After a gap of nearly five years, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be making her comeback on the big screen. Director Sanjay Gupta released the much-awaited trailed of ‘Jazbaa’ about a week ago, and fans are eagerly waiting to see the gorgeous Aishwarya Rai take on the role of a mother and lawyer in the film.
The film also stars Irrfan Khan in a pivotal role, and the promotions for the film will begun soon. However it has been reported that Irrfan will have to give the promotions a miss as he will be away from the country.
According to reports, Irrfan is currentlt in Japan shooting for a TV show, and will not make it back in time for the film promotions. The actor is expected to join the team only a week before the film’s release, till then Aishwarya will be handling all the media interactions single-handedly.
The makers have also reportedly planned a trip to the USA, which Irrfan will also unfortunately be unable to join. The film will be releasing on October 9.
Meanwhile director Sanjay Gupta will be colour-correcting the green tinge of the film’s trailer, and the revised trailer will be released across all platforms this week.
