Jagan Mohan Reddy says N Chandrababu Naidu is ‘outdated’, he’s new
Hyderabad: The game of one-upmanship between Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Leader of the Opposition Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy during discussion on the special state to AP on the Floor of the Assembly on Tuesday saw the two leaders at their vitriolic best, each sparing no effort to corner the other.
While Mr Reddy tried to get the better of Mr Naidu by saying that he had “not done his ‘homework’ and was an outdated politician”, the CM responded by saying “what matters is having values which Jagan does not possess”.
Mr Reddy said that he was from the younger generation of politicians who do their homework properly before coming to the Assembly, while Mr Naidu was an outdated politician. Mr Naidu countered the comments by saying that everyone is aware that he was the first CM to promote IT. “Go and ask any small boy or even an autorickshaw driver as to who developed Cyberabad and IT industry in Hyderabad. You will get the answer,” he said.
