Mumbai: The Borivali police has registered an FIR against Radhe Ma and 20 of her followers on Tuesday for molestation, obscenity, criminal intimidation, abuse and criminal conspiracy. Actor Dolly Bindra is the complainant in the case.
Ms Bindra said, “This incidents happened to me three years ago when I as a devotee of Radhe Maa went to her satsangs. I completely believed in her. But things took an ugly turn. I was sexually abused, tortured, kidnapped and threatened that I would be killed by them. When people started approaching the police against Radhe Maa I somehow mustered courage and decided to also approach the police. ”
According to the Borivali police the FIR is lodged against Sukhvinder Kaur alias Radhe Maa and 20 others under sections 354 (Assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty), 294 (punishment for obscene acts or words in public), 506 (2) (criminal intimidation), 504 (Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace), 509 (Word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman.), 109 (Punishment of abetment), 120b (criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code. The FIR has been registered after Ms Bindra gave a written complaint over a week ago.
