Director Krish, who has made films like Gamyam, Vedam and Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum, is now coming up with the film Kanche. “I had been writing this script for the last three years and worked very hard on it. I felt that I had got a great story after a long time and I am confident about it. The story is in the backdrop of World War II… according to my knowledge this subject hasn’t been seen in Telugu and Tamil. I don’t know about Hindi,” says Krish. “When I wrote my script I knew the budget constraint and everything fell in place and I completed the film according to our schedule,” he says.
He feels that this is the right time for the Telugu Film Industry. “I have seen people coming to theatres and it has been proven with Baahubali and Srimanthudu. I hope my film too has an impact and becomes a good commercial hit,” he says.
The film is releasing on October 2. Varun Tej and Pragya Jaiswal are playing the lead pair.
