It was reported earlier that director Ram Prakash Rayappa of Tamizhukku En Ondrai Azhuthavum is joining hands with Jiiva for a rom-com which has Hansika playing the female lead. The film is expected to commence soon in the city.
Now, the latest we hear about the film is that the makers are planning to name the film as Pokkiri Raja. It is to be noted that there was a Rajinikanth film with the same title, a 1982 release, directed by SP Muthuraman.
If everything goes well, this film will join other movies like Paayum Puli, Sakalakala Vallavan, etc, which recently acquired titles from the makers of yesteryear successful movies. Jiiva has Thirunaal and Kavalai Vendaam too which has Nayanthara and Kajal Aggarwal playing his romantic interests respectively.
