Shruti Haasan steals the show as she promotes 'Welcome Back' on 'Indian Idol'
John Abraham, Anil Kapoor and their lovely leading lady Shruti Haasan appeared on the sets of the hit kiddie reality show ‘Indian Idol Junior’ to promote their upcoming movie ‘Welcome Back’. Photo: Viral Bhayani- The film that also stars Shiney Ahuja, Dimple Kapadia and Naseeruddin Shah is all set to hit screens on September 4.
- Although not a singer, John did his best and lip synced to one of the ‘Welcome Back’ soundtracks.
- The actress also put up a small dance performance for the audience.
- A participant from Chennai joined her during the live performance and harmonised with Shruti.
- The star attraction would have to be the stellar performance put up by South beauty Shruti. The actress and singer crooned to a song from her debut film ‘Blue’.
- Sonakshi Sinha joined him later in the performance and paired up for a slow waltz as one of the participants sang live for the two.
- Anil Kapoor surprised the kids as he stepped up on stage and sat down as the kids performed around him.
- Anil, John and Shruti enjoyed their stint on the show thoroughly. Each star stepped up on stage to interact with the kids as they performed to some hit singles.
- It was all song, dance and selfies as soon as the stars made their grand entrance on the stage.
