When the movie Inji Iduppazhagi starring Arya and Anushka was announced, it caught everyone’s attention. This was mainly due to how Anushka looked in it, causing it to go viral.
The actress managed to gain 15 kg to play this role. The latest is that the filmmakers will be releasing a new 30-40 second teaser next week from the film, that will have the old hit song Inji Iduppazhagi from the Kamal-Revathi starrer Thevar Magan.
Rajeev of PVP Cinemas, producer of the film, speaking to DC said, “When audiences watch the film in theatres, they will understand why we used that particular song. We recreated the same set with a similar bed, curtains and costumes. It was quite a nostalgic moment. Arya and Anushka will imagine themselves to be Kamal and Revathi in that teaser. We also got written permission from Ilaiyaraaja sir, who was kind enough to let us use his music. We have edited it to suit the movie.” Inji Iduppazhagi is a funny take on the fitness and size zero fixation of recent times.
