PM should intervene and help the state govt to resolve the Mahadayi issue: Minister Satish Jarkiholi

He said that the state government is taking the legal recourse to address the issue at the earliest

Mysuru: Small-Scale Industries Minister Mr Satish Jarkiholi urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to intervene and help the state government to resolve the vexed Mahadayi issue out of the tribunal by holding meetings with the chief ministers of Goa and Maharashtra.

Speaking to reporters in Mysuru, he said that the state government is taking the legal recourse to address the issue at the earliest.

Asked about the allegations that the Congress is backing those farmers who are protesting for the project, he said, “We have never indulged in any such activity,” he said.
