A few years ago, Samantha made her debut with Gautham Menon’s Yeh Maya Chesave opposite Naga Chaitanya. Now one of South India’s top actresses, she is busy with both Telugu and Tamil films. She will play the romantic lead opposite Mahesh Babu and Nithiin in two upcoming Telugu projects. Both films will start shooting late September.
Meanwhile, on Sunday, the actress had an interesting chat with Naga Chaitanya, with whom she has done nearly three films. The promo of Naga Chaitanya’s upcoming film Sahasam Swasaga Sagipo was released on the occasion of Nagarjuna’s birthday. Chaitanya put the promo link on his Twitter page. To which Samantha tweeted, “All the best @chay_akkineni. Teaser looks like you’re gonna make more women swoon like you did in 2010.” Chaitanya tweeted back, “Haha thanks Sam! As long as I can swoon you,” to which Samantha replied, “You don’t even have to try.”
