CBI has filed a case against the directors of a private firm

New Delhi/Jaipur: In what may have significant political ramifications in Rajasthan, the CBI on Friday registered cases against former chief minister Asok Gehlot, senior Congress leader Sachin Pilot and the sons of two former Union ministers over a multi-crore ambulance scam in the state.
The CBI, sources said, took over the probe from the Rajasthan police after a formal notification by the Central and state governments. Sources said the CBI has filed a case against the directors of a private firm, and public servants for alleged irregularities in tenders awarded to the firm by inserting specifications.
