Strawberry has ace composers GV Prakash and Imman
Taj Noor who is scoring music for the lyricist turned actor-filmmaker Pa. Vijay’s upcoming film Strawberry has roped in ace composers GV Prakash and Imman for peppy numbers in the film.
“Despite their busy schedules, both Imman and GV gave their time. I just requested over a phone call. Similarly, actor Siddharth has rendered a number. All three tunes are in a western style. For the first time, I have also introduced a style called ‘Modern Gana’ in the movie,” Noor tells DC. The re-recording and sound mixing alone had taken them about 300 hours of work, he said and added, “I wanted to give a new sound for the film where music plays a crucial role. We officially bought new sounds and effects from Hollywood stocks through online platforms,” he adds.
Noor is also excited about his next movie Nedumba, the story of which revolves around a hill tribe. “Director Rajkumar and I took a trip into hilly terrains and forests and bought traditional instruments used by the people there to achieve a realistic touch to the compositions,” he signs off.
